Reflection on Queenship of Mary
One week after the Church celebrates the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we again celebrate. This time we commemorate the Coronation of our Lady, Queen of Heaven and Earth!
What does this mean? I believe it is the fulfillment of the prophesy Mary illuminated in her Magnificat: “All generations shall call me blessed.” The honor we bring to Mary, we do in imitation of her Son, Jesus.
Jesus, help us to say YES, as your mother did, to the plans Our Father has in store for us!
